It is used to compare databins, subsets and even each resources. The function is useful, for example, for comparing the content of used databases or used research procedures/queries.

When comparing two dataset (databin/subset/resource), an overview is automatically generated, which references:

  1. are identical in both datasets
  2. occur exclusively in one or the other compared datasets.

When you have more datasets, it is important to pin (by the button in the corner) the dataset which will be the primary source (on the top of the screen), then all the other datasets are compared to this selected one.

Then you get on all other datasets cards following information:

Size - the number of references contained in this dataset

Overlap - how many references are in both this dataset and the primary one

Only - how many references are only in this dataset

Missing - how many references this dataset does not include, but the primary one does
