Searching

Preview can be quickly searched using the left menu. Search fields can be added using the "More" button.

Standard boolean operators “and”, “or”, “not” can be used in all fields.

Searching for all references with publication year from 2019 to 2023: >2018 and <2024

In all fields, regular expressions of the JavaScript language can be used, as described here: JavaScript Regular Expressions

This type of query should be put in slashes: "/"

<aside> 💡 For example, if you want to search for all records containing the number 2000 or higher:

/2\d\d\d /(\d represents any digit)

Each search query can be saved and used again (within a project):

Selecting

With saved hitsets (results of a saved query, see above) you can combine your search strategies.

Filtering

Results can be filtered based on various criteria, including standard bibliographic information (publication year, author, etc.) as well as keywords or special information if references has DOI, attachment or duplicate.

Filtering can be activated in two positions by clicking on the dot:

REQR. = Require: the selected criterion must be satisfied

EXCL. = Exclude: the selected criterion must not be satisfied
